Course Description
Concert Band is designated for incoming freshmen and other students who have had at least one year of instrumental music experience at Santa Teresa HS. Instruction for this ensemble focuses on the preparation of music in a variety of styles for performance and on the development of band techniques. Students are required to participate in all appearances by the band. This is a great opportunity to fine tune your basic fundamentals before moving on to Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble. This is a year long course. Students are encouraged to participate in Marching Band in the fall.
Pre-requisite: Participation in a junior high band program.

Costs
For Students involved in Marching Band or Color Guard contributions are due as follows:
- $100 Due January 18, 2010
For Students NOT involved in Marching Band or Color Guard contributions are due as follows:
- $50 Due September 30, 2009
- $50 Due January 30, 2010
